Choosing an EHR

    Looking for an AdvancedMD alternative?

Choosing Thyra should start with commitments you can check for yourself: human onboarding, a pilot before a longer-term decision, and clinical workflows built for independent endocrinology and primary care practices.

Onboarding with you, by a human, in days.

Thyra's onboarding is done with you by a human. We work through setup with your team instead of handing you a self-guided setup packet or treating a video library as your training. Human onboarding help is included; there is no upgrade-for-more-help tier.

Start with a focused clinical workflow. Work with your onboarding contact to identify the incoming task, the relevant data, and who reviews the proposed action. Walk through the setup together and use the pilot to assess how it fits your practice.

The initial workflow setup is distinct from a full EHR migration. Your current EHR, available data access, and chosen scope determine the setup steps. Discuss those steps with the person helping you onboard before starting.

    No annual contract required.

Thyra does not require an annual commitment to find out whether it fits. The pilot is free for one provider for 30 days, with no card on file. It gives your practice time to evaluate the workflow before deciding whether to continue.

After the pilot, month-to-month or optional annual plans are available. The purpose of the pilot is to let the work inform your decision, without trapping your practice in software that does not fit.

Evaluate a task your team recognizes. Look at the source context, the draft, the physician review, and any unresolved work. Decide whether to continue, adjust the scope, or stop.

    AI-native workflows for independent practices.

Thyra is focused on independent endocrinology and primary care. The Smart Inbox triages messages, results, and refills against your protocols and prepares drafts for sign-off. The Longitudinal AI Scribe uses the patient's timeline when drafting documentation.

Endocrinology teams can review CGM reports with relevant history and proposed interpretations. Primary care teams can review messages, refills, and results alongside the context needed for follow-up. In both, the physician inspects the proposal and makes the final clinical decision.

Overlay runs alongside the EHR your practice already uses. Full EHR adds the chart when your practice is ready. Trying a workflow does not require deciding to replace your system of record first. Any EHR connection is confirmed for the data source, permissions, and workflow before a pilot begins.

    Who should not switch yet.

If your practice is part of a large group or depends on hospital-system integrations, keep your current system while validating the operational requirements and specific connections you need.

If your specialty is outside endocrinology and primary care, do not assume Thyra supports its workflows. Establish that fit before making a transition plan.

Stay with your current system if clinical fit, data access, or responsibility for review remains unresolved. Use the pilot and security information to make those questions concrete before deciding what comes next.

    Common questions.

Will a person help our practice onboard?

Yes. Thyra's onboarding is done with you by a human, with help included rather than sold as an upgrade tier. You work through setup together; a self-guided packet or video library does not replace that onboarding.

Do we have to sign an annual contract?

No. Thyra's pilot is free for one provider for 30 days, with no card on file. After the pilot, month-to-month or optional annual plans are available. Evaluate the workflow before deciding whether to continue.

Do we have to migrate our EHR to try Thyra?

No. Thyra's Overlay runs alongside the EHR your practice already uses. Start with a focused workflow and define the data access and review boundary for your practice. A move to Full EHR is a separate decision, made when your practice is ready. Any EHR connection is confirmed for the data source, permissions, and workflow before a pilot begins.

    How does the pilot work?

Start with the application form. The pilot is free for one provider for 30 days, with no card on file. Identify the workflow you want to evaluate, agree the setup and review boundary, and use the pilot to decide whether Thyra fits your practice. Keep patient information out of the application.
